About

Read a bit more about me and the history of how my business came into being!

A childhood memory recently resurfaced, reminding me of my early creative journey. Around the age of twelve or thirteen, I spent afternoons sketching little fairies with sparkling wings and dresses. From a young age, I found solace in drifting away into my own world, crafting things that existed only in my imagination—things that felt natural and beautiful, yet unreflected in the world around me.

The aesthetics of the fantastical, the forest nymphs and elves whispered about in stories, have always spoken to me. Their fierce femininity, their boldness and bravery, the adventures of the unknown and undiscovered—they stir something deep within me: a sense of belonging.

Now, as I walk the path of adulthood, I’ve come to see womanhood as something profoundly magical. Living intrinsically with the cycles of life every month—birth, blossom, decay, and rebirth—is part of my existence. To be a womban (womb-woman) is to embody a sacred connection between heaven and earth, to be a portal of creation. And creation extends far beyond the act of birthing human life; it encompasses the birthing of ideas, of art, of expressions of our deeper self.

And as I’ve grown older, I've been feeling a closer connection to the name given to me at birth: Rikst. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate the strength it holds and the connection to my Frisian and Germanic roots. Rikst means "mighty, powerful, and substantial." These qualities have become a guiding force in both my life and art, shaping how I look at the energetic wisdom of the feminine.

My jewelry is a reflection of that meaning: a celebration of strength, presence, and worth. Through my designs, I strive to bring women REMEMBRANCE to not only recognize their innate wisdom but to embody and express it. Every piece I create serves as a reminder to wear that inner LIFE FORCE boldly and unapologetically, as if it were a part of you—an adornment of your soul.

I so warmly invite you to weave ritual and ceremony into your life as a profound way to connect with your cosmic feminine codes and in this way, to contribute to the emergence of a new earth—a world that thrives on community, expansion for all, intuitive wisdom and abundant creative expression. To me, rituals are more than practices; they are vibrant expressions of our personal journeys, aligning us with the deeper rhythms of the universe.

Each time one of my designs finds its home - from one heart to the other -, it symbolizes to me a shared connection and a reminder that we are all part of something greater and sacred. In our collective rituals, we come together to celebrate our divine essence and nurture a more harmonious and expansive world.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are the jewelry made from?

My jewelry is handmade mostly from high-quality brass and genuine gemstones. Each stone is handpicked for its quality and unique properties, ensuring that you always wear a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry showing the natural beauty and essence of the stone.

I have also a few pieces that are made from Alpaca and/or Silver-Plated wire.

Does brass tarnish over time?

Yes, brass can develop a natural patina over time. This is a normal
process that gives the brass a beautiful vintage look. If you'd prefer
to keep the original shine, you can easily clean it with a soft cloth.
For a deep clean, I suggest you add some brass polish or lemon juice to
the cloth.

Does brass change the color of your skin?

I have never had feedback (or personal experience) of the jewelry causing discoloration of the skin.

Is the jewelry nickel-free?

My jewelry made with Brass wire is nickel-free and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for people with a sensitive skin.

The pieces that have Alpaca and Silver-Plated wire in them, contain nickel, so be aware of that when choosing your piece.

How should I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry in the best condition, I recommend keeping it away from water, perfume, and when working out. Store it in a dry place and wrap it in a soft cloth when not in use. If you wish to clean your jewel energetically, I advise to do so with White Sage.

I'd like to see more pictures or a video of a jewel before buying it, is that possible?

Yes, no problem! Just shoot me a message at my Instagram page.

Can I request custom-made jewelry?

Yes, custom-made jewelry is possible! If you have a specific gemstone in mind or want a unique design, feel free to contact me, and we can discuss the options. I have many gemstones that are looking for their permanent home, so we can defenitely create something together!
